OUR TEAM

    Chris Mafredonia, CEO & Owner

Chris Manfredonia, CEO of San Juan Insulation & Drywall (SJID), was born and raised in New York. Chris moved to Durango in 1978 and attended Fort Lewis College where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In 1984 he started insulating houses with his partner Jeff Jaeger for a company named San Juan Insulation.

San Juan Insulation was just the first of several companies acquired by Chris and Jeff over the next several years. They expanded their services to offer metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, stucco, and plaster. The two partners spent the next 20 years growing their business to more than $20 million in annual sales and employing over 200 people throughout the Four Corners area.

"Hiring and keeping the right people have led to our company's respected position in the marketplace. At SJID we spend a good deal of time on human resources; recruiting talented and experienced employees." Our upper management offers professionalism and expertise to help our general contractors with everything from competitive bidding to successful job completion. In 25 years, San Juan Insulation & Drywall has never failed to complete a project.

Chris and Jeff are extremely customer oriented and from the design process to final punch list, they are both "hands on" owners. They understand the current market and continually analyze and make adjustments to meet changing demands in the construction industry. Our goal at SJID is to constantly strive to improve our performance meeting our customer’s needs in this fast paced industry.
